It was only 40 years ago Don't you remember?
We were fighting for the same thing.
We were looking up into the light as we searched and hoped for a better life.
A better life. Don't you remember?
Have you forgotten How hard it was to strive Work Hard to
Hope for a better life?
Well now you have it.
And they are looking up.
Have you forgotten?
It was only 40 years ago.
Laying down looking up at the night sky.
Way back then when there seemed to be more stars up high
You've attached your dreams to those lights
and broke your sleep to climb up to them

This is officially the first entry, the best timing to have it.
Today was an incredibly interactive day filled with numerous mindful conversations with strangers. From the moment I got onto the L train to the end of my day's work, only smiles throughout.
The center of attention for today's conversations were of Obama - politics and the nature of human decisions (esp. in voting). Naturally, we people tend to be attracted to those most like us. Since everybody thinks they are right, it's only natural that that would dictate much of our presidential voting decisions. Ideally, it should be a candidate's determined course of action and political agenda that embody our voting decisions but apparently not all of the American people are interested in politics enough to spend their precious time to research all that. Thus is why most young people are all for Obama. We relate to cultural diversity and "Change."
As I continue on with my COLLECTING PEOPLE project, two people I've collected today happened to have opposing views about Obama. Both African American males, one older (60), one younger (21). Can you guess who is for and against Obama?
It's not what you guessed:
